Write your three documents first — then build something that only you could build. Here are four shapes that work.

  • A zine

    Eight pages. One subject. Photocopier aesthetic. Mail it to ten people you respect.

  • A short film

    Ninety seconds. One shot. One idea. Music you didn’t make. Voice you didn’t train.

  • A photo series

    Twelve frames. One refusal. Show what you didn’t keep alongside what you did.

  • The album

    The one you’ve been sitting on for years. Use the tools wrong on purpose.
